The two new models of Zune portable media players feature the new Zune Pad, an innovative touch-sensitive button for navigating on the device, as well as wireless sync, a feature that allows Zune devices to automatically sync over the device owner’s home wireless network when it is connected to an AC adaptor, in a dock or speaker dock accessory. Existing Zune owners will automatically receive new software features, the redesigned PC and device software and access to the new Zune Marketplace when everything is released to the public in mid-November.

Hey everyone I have now just confirmed that I will be at a Halo 3 midnight launch in Memphis, TN (the city & state I live in) so anyway I just want to guys to know that I will be posting pictures live from the event on my flickr. (www.flickr.com/photos/jamesjc) so if you cant make it to a midnight launch or just want to enjoy some  of the Halo 3 fun I will try to post 10-30 pictures so you don't miss out on the biggest game launch in history. With seven days and counting, the anticipation for "Halo 3" has reached a fever pitch. To help further stoke the anticipation for what promises to be one of the biggest entertainment launches in history, Microsoft today confirmed further exciting details around the Midnight Madness events happening across the United States starting Monday, September 24 and culminating with the game's sale at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, September 25.

More than 10,000 retail stores in the U.S. alone will be opening their doors at midnight on September 25 to usher in one of the biggest days in entertainment history, and fans will be invited to participate in activities at local retailers to countdown to "Halo 3's" launch.

Major regional events will also be held in select locations including New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle and Miami, and those consumers who participate will not only be a part of history in the making, but can also score free merchandise and get a chance to play "Halo 3" with local celebrities in on-site Game with Fame sessions.

Japan’s best developers are betting big on Xbox 360 in 2007 and beyond, as Microsoft announces best-ever holiday entertainment lineup.
